"For man is created in the image and likeness of God who is Himself love. Since God created him man and woman, their mutual love becomes an image of the absolute and unfailing love with which God loves man." [Catechism of the Catholic Church, 1604]
The Sacrament of Matrimony is the Sacrament in which man can most perfectly imitate the Trinity. The Trinity, which is a community of persons, has the Father who pours His love out into the Son. The Son, in turn, pours His love out into the Father. The love between the two is so real that it creates the Third Person of the Trinity: the Holy Spirit. Likewise, when husband and wife make of themselves a sincere gift of love, fruit is produced. First in the life of children brought forth by such love, and secondly in the spiritual life in which husband and wife grow in holiness. We invite you to consider beginning your marriage in the presence of God by having your wedding at St. Bruno's. All weddings are prefaced with marriage preparation sessions with a priest and a mentor couple. As such, weddings need to be scheduled at least 6 months in advance and at least one of the parties must be a registered, practicing Catholic member of our Parish community. To have your wedding at St. Bruno's, contact the parish office to set up a meeting with Fr. Dan or Deacon Joe.
