The Pastoral Council is a group of people, chosen from and by the parish community, which consults with the pastor in order to foster and plan pastoral activity. The council helps to ensure that the mission of Christ is being carried out effectively and the faith needs of parishioners are being met.
The Pastoral Council has the best interest of the parish at heart, always asking,
• “How are our people being served?”
• “Who are we not reaching?”
• “What should we be doing that we are not?”
Members must be at least 18 years of age, baptized, practicing Catholics, registered members of the parish, participants in the parish worship life especially Mass and the sacraments, and have served for at least one year on a commission or committee of a parish.
• You are the Good News of Jesus Christ and the parish is the place where His mission is lived locally!
• You have an active role in shaping the parish ministries and achieving the goals of St. Bruno’s now and for the future!
• The collaboration and information sharing at monthly meetings is a wonderful way to connect with your brothers and sisters here at home.
