I attended high school at Waukesha South where I indulged my love of art and music. My electives were photography, concert choir, acapella choir and Spanish for all 4 years of high school. After high school, I attended Peck School of the Arts at UW-Milwaukee majoring in photography and minoring in psychology. During my time in college, I dabbled in a variety of different 2d and 3d media and developed a particular fondness of drawing and painting. I graduated with my BFA in 2009, then returned part time to finish my psychology degree in 2016. Eventually, after several years of working in special education and the arts, I discovered that my true passion was not just creating my own art but teaching it to others. So, I attended Mount Mary from Fall 2020 to Fall 2021 to earn my Art Education degree. I completed my student teaching at Dousman Elementary prior to starting here at St Bruno at the beginning of 2022.
