WHAT WERE YOU LIKE AS A STUDENT? I went to Quincy Notre Dame, a Catholic high school in Quincy, IL. While attending QND, I played football for two years, was president of our Key Club (a service organization) and German Club, and was photography editor for the yearbook. I also spent time working for the local grocery store, Niemann Foods, "Where you find good value and much more." My favorite subject in high school was a ‘BASIC’ programming class. It was cutting-edge back in the 1900s. After high school, I attended Northeast Missouri State University (now Truman State University). I earned my B.S. degree in mathematics and an M.A. degree in education. I filled my free time in college with intramural sports, playing basketball for hours, Nintendo, and walking to Quik Trip (a company ‘down south!’) for 44oz sodas.
