If you are interested in discovering what God has in store for you through the Catholic Church, consider joining Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA).
Attending RCIA is a time for you to ask questions, grow in your faith, and decide whether you want to join the Church and receive the Saraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation, and Communion).
Throughout this process you will attend sessions where you will learn the richness of the teachings of Christ through the Scriptures and Traditions of the Church. You will be presented to our parish community in a Rite of Welcome, so our family can pray for you, and then presented to the Archbishop at the Rite of Election. You won't be on this journey alone: we'll help you choose a Sponsor, someone to walk with you as you discover, question, and pray about receiving the Sacraments at Easter. At the Easter Vigil Mass (the night before Easter Sunday), you will receive the Sacraments of Initiation: Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist.
If you have been baptized in another faith tradition and wish to become Catholic, you are invited to join some (or all) of these sessions and be welcomed into the Catholic Church, receiving the sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist at the Easter Vigil.
Our Sunday morning sessions to acquaint people with the Catholic faith and prepare them to be received into the Catholic Church begins in October. Would you or someone you know like to join the group? No commitment, just come and find out more during a few sessions. The group meets after 9am mass at St Paul on Sunday mornings. The meetings go from 10am to 11:30 or so. They meet several times/month until the Easter Vigil when those in the group receive the sacraments and are received into the Catholic Church. The sessions are facilitated by Beth and Peter McFadzen, a married couple who've been doing this for over 10 years. Deacon Joseph Senglaub and Fr. Dan also work with those journeying toward the Easter Vigil. The team is very welcoming and create a warm environment for faith sharing and learning. Peter often says these sessions are the best kept secret in the Catholic Church!

I’ve been a believer and going to church my whole life, but not as a Catholic. It was about five years ago the Lord started to pull me away from the church my wife and I had been members of for 35 years. We started to attend different churches in the Lake Country area including St. Bruno Parish. The more I went to a Catholic church the more comfortable I felt. While still attending other churches, I was invited to a men’s group which meets at St. Bruno Parish on Thursdays at 6AM. I found it to be a great place to learn more about the Catholic faith and ask questions and just to meet with fellow Christians. I started to feel that this is where the Lord was taking me. To learn more about the Catholic faith I decided to take the RCIA class. It wasn’t long before I knew that this is where the Lord wanted me. I joined the Catholic faith and St. Bruno Parish in December 2016. The Catholic faith has a rich history and a lot of tradition. I find it to be a wonderful place to learn more about and worship the Lord!
